I have the scrubbing bubbles automatic shower cleaner which I thought worked brillantly. However, mine malfunctioned. The unit went off without me pushing the button to activate the product!. The cleaner sprayed me in the face, eyes and neck resulting in a nasty chemical burn:. I contacted SC Johnson and they noted the complaint but advised there was nothing they coudl do.. They did refund me for the product, but I didn't request the refund'. I am requesting a refund of my medical expenses but they advised I have to write a letter!. They advised I can't submit via email or fax, I had to write a letter and just wait for a response?. My concern is that what if the unit would've malfunctioned while my child was in the tub? My neck resulted in a small scar, my eye was swollen for 3 days and my face had scabs from the chemical burn|. This all looked very hideous while working in a corporate office. 35b270a

I am a very dissatisfied customer who bought two automatic shower cleaners

model number SCJ-hc-008, that lasted about

two weeks. What really makes me angry, is I

bought six extra refills, and now can't use

them. Is there any recourse for me?

Thank you

Chemical burns, you have to be kidding me. You are part of what is wrong with the USA. Earn your way, don't take the free ride. Ever wonder why your insurance rates are high? POS's sue over the smallest item...

Learn how to use the product and quit *** and looking for a free ride. You sound just like that old lady that got burned by her coffee....."boo hoo...it was hot".

I have found that anything to do with scrubbing bubbles products are very toxic. I have since found a chemical free product that works better than scrubbing bubbles, does not harm me or the environment and costs less. If anyone is interested in finding out what these awesome products are, please contact me at

I am about to buy my third one. They last 6 months, then the battery compartment get gummed up and it can't be leaned. Obviously a design fault.

My experience with the shower cleaner is that after about a year it stops working. Problem is that fluid leaks into battery compartment and the control stops working. I have cleaned and dried the unit several times but it will not work. I would like a free machine so I can use all the bubbles I have purchased. I like it when it works.

Same thing happened to me this morning...I wrote them and will decide what to do legally later.
